What is a Strategic Plan?

A municipal Strategic Plan is a guiding document that outlines local government's vision, priorities, and goals over a set period of time. It serves as a roadmap for making decisions, allocating resources and delivering services that enhance the quality of life for residents. 

After conducting interviews, surveys, and gathering data council established our vision, mission and priorities, each accompanied by actionable steps for staff to pursue during the 2024–2026 period. These strategies outline a comprehensive vision for the Township.

Service Delivery and Process Review

In 2022 the Township received funds through the Municipal Modernization Program Intake 3 to complete a Service Delivery and Process Review to evaluate the services provided by the Township, how those programs and services are delivered, and the level by which they are delivered. The information and recommendations contained in this review will assist Council and staff with strategic planning.
