Leaf and Yard Waste

Guidelines for leaf and yard waste collection:

• Residents are asked to place leaf and yard waste at the road along with regular waste by 7:00 am.
• Will be collected weekly between May 5, 2025 and November 7, 2025.
• Must be contained in paper bags or reusable containers such as garbage cans or recycling bins
• There is no bag limit
• Please note that no shrubs, large branches or stumps will be collected
• Small bundles will be collected (up to 4 feet in length and weighing no more than 50lbs)

Helpful information to keep in mind:

Leaf and yard waste is not composted, the material goes directly into the landfill. Mulch or mow your leaves on-site if possible. If you wish to compost, contact the Township office to purchase a composter (80 gallon/300 litres limited quantities available)
