Garbage and Recycling
The Township offers weekly curbside collection. Recycling is handled by Circular Materials.
Curbside Garbage Collection
Residents must place garbage at the curb each week for collection. To find your scheduled pickup day, view the Waste Management Calendar below.
Remember:
A maximum of two garbage bags may be placed at the curb each week. Additional bags must have a valid garbage tag. Set items out by 7:00 a.m. on collection day. Times may vary. Curbside collection is for household garbage only. Large items will not be picked up.
Garbage Tags
Residents may place up to two (2) garbage bags at the curb each week for collection.

Each bag must not exceed 50 lbs.

Additional bags must have a garbage tag attached.
Garbage tags are available for purchase: Online or at the Municipal Office (6 Oak Street, Lancaster).
Curbside Recycling Collection

Curbside recycling collection will take place weekly on the same day as your garbage collection.
The Township employs a single-stream recycling program, which means all recyclables are collected in one bin and sorted and processed at the recycling facility.
Where to Get a Blue Box or Composter?
Recycling bins can be purchased through our recycling contractor, Emterra Group. Please contact them directly to arrange purchase or inquire.
